At Magic Point Physie, our goal is to grow and nurture a physie club that is inclusive, encouraging and collaborative. We can’t wait to create magic at Magic Point Physie! We have a great collective of teachers and staff with a wealth of experience and passion.

Shelley Bays-Wieckhorst
Mums & Bubs & 5-6 years
Shelley began dancing at age 4 and discovered physie at 7. A former professional performer and Zone Champion, she now brings her experience as a qualified teacher and new mum to her classes. Shelley creates warm, welcoming Mums & Bubs sessions focused on connection, gentle movement and building confidence together.

Katrina Yaxley
13 years - 1st years
Katrina began her physie journey at age 7 and started teaching while still in high school. Having competed at the Sydney Opera House and continuing to perform in Open Ladies, she brings strong technique and a love of mentoring. Katrina supports seniors as they grow in confidence, skill and performance quality.

Paige Dole
4-8 years
Paige has a strong physie background starting from age 4 and has competed at the highest level as a senior National finalist. As an accomplished youth worker and emerging social worker, Paige has a genuine passion for working with children. Her classes are designed to make every child feel supported and capable.

Amy Parker
Seniors 17+
A two-time National Champion, Amy brings high energy and a positive approach to her classes. With a strong focus on technique, stamina, and safe dance, she encourages dancers to build skills and perform with strength and control while having fun. Amy loves mentoring seniors and helping them perform at their best.

Phoebe Kypreos
4-8 years
Phoebe grew up around physie, first watching from the back of her mum’s classes before joining in at age four. A National Champion and three-time National Finalist at the Sydney Opera House, she has nearly 20 years’ experience and a degree in Primary Education, and shares her energy and creativity in a positive, nurturing setting.

Vicki Thorn
Ladies
Vicki is one of the founders of Magic Point Physie and has been part of the physie world since the age of two. With over 50 years of experience across all levels of competition, she brings a strong knowledge of the sport and a genuine passion for creating a welcoming, supportive environment. Vicki loves helping women feel confident, connected and proud to be part of physie.

Tracey Kypreos
9-12 years & Ladies
Tracey brings over 40 years of physie experience, having competed at the highest level including Nationals and the Sydney Opera House. A dedicated teacher and performer, she enjoys guiding Juniors and Ladies as they develop strength, technique and confidence through physie.

Jessica Muellner
Junior Associate
Jessica will be learning from our talented team while working across different classes and age groups throughout the year. Currently completing a Bachelor of Primary Education and part of physie since age four, she will bring enthusiasm, warmth, and a positive presence to every class.
